We stayed at Aqua Marina Drive Inn in the middle of March 2013, for two nights and three days. I must admit wholeheartedly that it was a great and amazing stay. All the rooms are sea facing and you can view the sea from each and every room. All the rooms are pretty big; they even have bathtub/shower area in a few. Watching the sea while lying at the bed is a first time but great experience to me. All the rooms are very well maintained and the whole property is very neat and clean. The rooms lie in a semi-circle cottage styled. It has a nice sea view restaurant with good food at reasonable rates. They have a few beach chairs and few garden tables (umbrella on request), where you can relax and watch the sea uninterrupted for quite a long time. The gardens are well maintained and I found one of their staff constantly caring the plants, trimming dead leaves and branches. They do have a few rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. It also has a dedicated staff to look after them, who really take a good care of them. Really enjoyed watching them playing with each other. The sea is just a stone’s throw from its main gate; it really comes close at the time of high tides. Like most of the resorts, it has a beach entry and an entry from the metaled road. A new building is coming up in the back side and I was also informed that they plan to install a swimming pool there. A good thing which I found there is that, despite the undergoing construction, there is hardly any noise or disturbance, as they really muffled the sound. All of their staffs are very well mannered and helpful. The best thing in this resort in their manager Mr. Bharat Singh, like a good captain he really leads his good team of staffs to make this resort a great one, to stand among numerous resorts. We really felt safe inside the resort and were in complete peace of mind. We really enjoyed our stay here, and plan to visit here again in future. All the best to the resort and all its staff members. Keep up this good work!

It was an amazing and joyful trip to Mandarmoni specially staying at Aqua Marina Drive Inn Resort. It is a small well-maintained resort of Mandarmoni. Thanks to the people of Kolahal and Aqua Marina who provided us perfect information and services. As we made online booking of the resort, we were a little bit worried about all things. But as soon as we reached Mandarmoni (Aqua Marina), our worries were gone. We found exactly what we saw in the website.

Hi all,
First of all I want to thank both the staff members of Kolahal.com and Aqua Marina Hotel for their kind and wonderful support.
This was my first visit to Mandarmani. I went there with my fiance. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel service was quite good. The food was healthy and available at any point of time. The room was clean and sea facing. Awesome view. The chairs outside were also great.
A car was provided by the hotel to pick us up from Digha station. For only 2 hours each day electricity was not there. Morning 7 to 8 and evening 5 to 6. Not a problem as we all went out for walk during this time. Had an awesome time.
Moreover, the hotel is safe and the manager and the staff members are very friendly. I know each and everyone's visit will be special there.
All the services I have asked for, they delivered on time within an affordable rate. The only suggestion I have is go there and enjoy a sumptuous holiday @ the affordable rate.
Thanks again to Kolahal and Aqua Marina. Would like to visit again...soon..

Aqua Marina Drive Inn is one of the best resorts out of three at Mandarmani. The rooms are in a half circle and all the rooms / balcony have an awesome sea view. Rooms are well furnished, airy, and the location of the resort is outstanding. There is a well maintained grassy lawn with mind-blowing sea view. A wonderful balcony outside of every room where you can sit with your drinks for hours watching the sea. Bengali cuisine is average but very fresh. Try Masala Pomfret Fry (2 Pcs. Rs. 140/-) & Crispy Chiken (Rs.140/-) with your drinks in the evening. For dinner, try Chicken Fried Rice & Chicken Butter Masala. The resort staff members were polite and courteous. Only negative point is very slow room service. Overall experience staying at this resort was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay over here.

From booking to checking out, it was really a very cordial and smooth experience for us. The hotel is very well-thought of and the service was pretty good. The food was also quite fine but affordable. The hotel rooms numbering only 12 and all rooms being on the ground floor yet sea-facing makes the hotel a very coveted one. The only -ve point is that I lost my prn-drive in the room and the hotel management could not do much about that.

This was my fourth visit to Mandarmoni. I stayed at four different hotels in my four visits. I must say Aqua Marina Drive Inn was my best experience as of now. I took my family (6 persons and 1 child) this time and everybody said 1 word only “Awesome”. Every staff member of the hotel is very helpful and delivers their 100% all the time. Service is excellent, food is good, rooms are beautiful, toilets clean and wonderful view of the sea from each and every room / balcony.
All the services I have asked, they delivered on time within an affordable rate. The only suggestion I have is go there and enjoy a sumptuous holiday @ the affordable rate.

We, two families from Jamshedpur (Tatanagar), visited this hotel on 29th afternoon. This happend to be my fourth trip to Mandarmani in six years and everytime I try a new hotel for better facilities. Aqua Marina Drive Inn met my entire requirements. I booked 2 AC Elite rooms. They were very clean (even the bathrooms were having good water flow) and maintained. The AC and TV were in good condition. The food, especially the Indian food, was good. The behaviour of the staff was very decent. The negative points are the parking place for a private car and of course the swimming pool which is under construction.
Last but not the least, the young manager cum In-charge of the hotel Mr. Vishwajeet Gupta is a thorough gentleman and is very nice to deal with. My overall experience staying at this hotel for two nights was excellent and we all enjoyed a lot.

We stayed in this hotel on 5-May-12 and 6-May-12. We took 3 Delux rooms (105/106/107). This is a very nice place to stay. The hotel staff arranged tables near the boundary wall overlooking the sea, and it was a very nice experience for hanging out.
The rooms are exactly the same as shown in the Kolahal site. And the food is really awesome, marvellous.
We really enjoyed our stay over here.

On the auspicious occasion of Poila Baishakh we, a group of 12, headed to Mandarmani. This is my third time to there so expected no surprise. But omg!!!! What a surprise waiting for me at our destination Aqua Marina Drive Inn resort. Its serene beauty magnifies us. The rooms are awesome with clear sea view.
There are just twelve rooms so our privacy wasn't disturbed. The open space is to die for. We spent most of our time in that area. Mindblowing view of the sea complements the lawn.
The food was really mouthwatering specially the prawn malai curry. The service is pretty good. Biswajit, the man behind all this good thing, is very helpful. His hospitality is above all question. His behavior towords the guests compels you to go there again and again. In all our future visits our destination will be only Aqua Marina.

If you are visiting Mandarmani the very first time then go for Aqua Marina because after that you don’t have to worry about anything. The people are so much helpful right from arrival to departure. The manager & Bishwajit are awesome people. I wish them all the luck and am looking forward to visit again. Now for me Aqua Marina will be my weekend destination. They have awesome rooms with awesome delicious food. And about the hotel location: it's outstanding. You will just fall in love with the location. They have very few rooms which makes Aqua Marina a peaceful destination and you will get privacy as well!! I suggest to you guys: Go for it. And you will love it. Any more information, if you require, Bishwajit will definitely help you out!! And Bishwajit this message is for you: build some more rooms. I had been planning to visit Mandarmoni for a long time. I had heard that it is better than Digha as it's newly developed, but there aren't many hotels and the ones that are there are too expensive.
This Bengali New Year I thought let's do it. Thanks to Google I found Kolahal.com with details of the places to stay and the rates along with the reviews.
I zeroed in on Aqua Marina Drive Inn on the basis of the pictures and the earlier reviews along with the rates.
I called up the hotel to check if the rates are genuine and if rooms are available. I spoke to the hotel staff and also Mr. Gupta who were kind enough to provide me all the details without even thinking whether I'll be their guest or not.
I was apprehensive that whatever is being mentioned on the website is true or not. Are the reviews genuine? All my apprehensions were gone the moment I drove into the hotel.
All that was shown in the pictures was true. All the reviews given are genuine: the neat and clean rooms, the well maintained surroundings, the courteous staff, and the food. I would like to mention that no one asked for a tip, but provided the best of service.
I have hardly had such great experience with my stay in my numerous outings. The food is cooked in a clean kitchen and is delicious.
To sum it up, starting from the drive from Kolkata with the stay at Aqua Marina Drive Inn ending with the drive back was a successful trip. The road is in good shape barring a few patches. The stay as mentioned earlier would certainly bring me back to Aqua Marina Drive Inn time and again. A great place to stay for families as well as a group of friends.

As per advice of kolahal I booked one room in Aqua Marina on 6/4/2012. This is my first time visit to Mandarmoni. I had heard lots of bad things about hotels in Mandarmoni. But I was surprised when I reached Kanthi station: My train was 1 hour late but the pick up car was waiting for me.
I found Mr Biswajit in the hotel who booked my room in Kolkata. The behavior of the manager and Biswajit was superb. They are so helpful. They even booked my return bus ticket. Food and room service are excellent.
I advise all of you that for a short family tour you must go to Mandarmoni and stay at Aqua Marina.

When kolahal.com suggested to me the name of this resort, I was a little apprehensive. I heard it was a relatively new resort (opened in August 2011), and so was not sure how it would be. But my apprehension changed to ecstasy in no time.
The cottages are in a semi circle so that all the rooms have a very good sea view. I was in Room 104 and really you can't ask for anything better. An airy, well furnished room, a bathroom with a giant bathtub. Wow, it was great! There is a quaint balcony outside where you can sit for hours together watching the sea.
The children's play area was wonderful. My 4 year-old child had a blast in the park. In the morning the sea was nearly kissing the boundary wall, and from the resort we watched a fantastic sunrise. The service, cleanliness and food are all exemplary. The rates are affordable and you have a feeling always that you are getting more than what you are paying.
Finally it would be a crime not to mention the personalized attention we have received from the front office staff and manager as well as Mr Vishwajit Gupta from the time of booking to the time of our departure. Thank you for making our stay memorable. If anyone wishes to visit Mandarmani in near future just trust me and book Aqua Marina. It is the best of the lot.

Our trip to Mandarmoni (11.02.12 to 13.02.12) was a very refreshing experience for my family and myself. Other than the breath-taking beauty of the sea beaches of this region, the complete satisfaction derived from our stay in the Aqua Marina Drive Inn resort was one of the main reasons for the trip being so enjoyable.
The resort is located on the beach and the sea creeps up to the boundary wall during high tide. The cottages are arranged in a half circle facing the sea with a clear sea-view available from the verandah of every cottage.
The rooms and bathrooms are well-appointed and offer all the amenities that may be required. Service provided by the resort staff is personalised and difficult to find fault with. The limitation on the number of guests that can be accommodated – there being only 12 rooms at the time of our visit – probably adds to the feeling of exclusivity.
The dining hall is closest to the boundary wall separating the resort from the beach and offers expansive view of the sea. In keeping with the view is the quality of the food served, and the taste of aloo posto and chingrir malaikari relished during lunch on 12.02.12 still lingers on my taste buds.
The resort management provided us transport from and to Digha station. A vehicle was also provided for local sight-seeing at a reasonable rate. The drivers were amiable and willing to show around.
In future, whenever I feel the urge to get away from it all for a day or two and enjoy a little bit of solitude, the Aqua Marina Drive Inn resort at Mandarmoni will rank very high in my list of desired destinations. I would like to end with a humble suggestion. I think that a few ‘Jhhau’ trees along the boundary wall mentioned earlier will make the sea-view from the resort picture-perfect.
