Tarangamala Resort is just like a home on sea-side. The staff members are very nice in behavior. The rates are very very reasonable. For those who think that Mandarmani is an expensive place, Tarangamala resort is an exception.

The hotel is nicely located. The food is excellent. The behaviour of the staff is good. The rooms are clean and airy. The toilets are clean. Water is always available. They cook fresh fish from their pond which is located in front of the cottages.
Electricity is available for 20 hours per day. There is power break from their DG sets for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening.
Please carry all essential medicines and milk powder (no milk supply).
Don't carry too much city clothes, since Mandarmoni area is informal.
There is high tide in morning. This time of the day is good for fun in the sea. But the sand is silty and bathing in the sea is no fun.

After a busy week, we went out for a refreshing weekend. To accomplish this goal Tarangamala helped us a lot. What we liked the most is their hospitality. We had a great weekend there.
I recommend TARANGAMALA to anyone who wants to enjoy her/his weekend in a calm sea resort with extra benefits of village viewing at a reasonable price.

"The hospitality, food and accommodation at the guest house are superb. We stayed there for 2 nights, which we felt was inadequate for recharging the body and mind amidst the beauty and tranquility of the sea-beach. We learned a lot about the prawn culture in the area. Although, 'Dil mange more' to stay but no way. We have decided to come again to Tarangamala GH whenever we get holidays. Many many thanks to Debu Mahapatra."
